ShareFOREST project aims to design, develop and assess a participatory methodology to support co-decision in planning and management of forests, reinforcing the principles behind territorial governance and, as ultimate mission, preventing and mitigating the impacts of future wildfires.<\/p>\n

The research has three main stages:
\nStage 1:<\/strong> identification and mapping of public and stakeholders acting and\/or benefiting from the Matas do Litoral, analysing collaboration patterns and networks; and assessment of social representations and perceptions concerning forests and wildfires, after 2017;
\nStage 2:<\/strong> definition of a participatory methodology to support co-decision in planning and management of forests and its operationalization in case studies located in the Matas do Litoral territory;
\nFase 3:<\/strong> evaluation of the participatory process impacts in the case studies, reflecting on process design, immediate results and outputs and potential impacts on forest management.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
