Task 2 | MAPPING STAKEHOLDERS AND STAKEHOLDER’S NETWORKS

Task 2 aims to identify and map stakeholders, by assessing patterns of interaction and existent networks between different stakeholder's groups concerning the management, use, and interest in the Matas do Litoral.

Sub-Task 2.1 | Identification of stakeholders and stakeholder’s groups

A systematic public/ stakeholder analysis will be conducted, aiming at identifying relevant stakeholders in the context of Matas do Litoral. The public/ stakeholder analysis will consider the relative interest, benefit and influence of stakeholders and publics in relation to Matas do Litoral, differentiating the core and secondary stakeholders.

Sub-Task 2.2 | Survey of civic movements, emerged after 2017's wildfires

The objective of this sub-task is to understand how local and regional society responded to the catastrophic wildfires through the assessment of civic movements and/or organization of campaigns, seminars and other events after 2017’s wildfires. The collection of this information will help to identify groups of citizens already organized or mobilized for acting in the recovering and/or transformation of the Matas do Litoral.

Sub-Task 2.3 | Identification of networks and patterns of interaction between stakeholder’s groups

Sub-task 2.3 aims to expand stakeholder analysis, by investigating patterns of interaction and existent networks between stakeholders and stakeholder’s groups within Matas do Litoral. A questionnaire will be implemented aiming to assess interactions, collaborations and partnerships between stakeholder’s groups. A map of existent interactions and networks will be prepared and discussed in a participatory workshop.
